Former NFL sideline reporter Michele Tafoya scores victory in Minnesota GOP Senate primary

The four-time Emmy Award-winning sports journalist entered the GOP primary after incumbent Sen. Tina Smith (D-Minn.) announced she wouldn’t be seeking a second term last February.
