Former neonazi activist selected as Tory candidate for Somerset council election

A FORMER neonazi convicted for harassing a Jewish MP has been selected to stand for the Tories in a local election in Somerset. Joshua Bonehill-Paine claimed the Conservative local branch and the national party were “fully aware of his past” after being picked on Monday for the council election in a new Crewkerne South district. “Our chairman has been a vocal advocate and has supported me since I became a member of the party. I am very grateful for the support,” he told the Guardian.
