Former MP seeks reduction of NEET-PG All India Quota to 15%

Nadda to reduce the All India Quota (AIQ) for postgraduate medical admissions from the existing 50% to 15%, bringing it on par with the quota applicable to undergraduate medical seats.In a letter to Mr. Nadda, he said the substantial difference between the 15% AIQ for eligible government MBBS seats and 50% AIQ for postgraduate seats warranted reconsideration.He said the issue was particularly important for Telangana, which had made significant investments in medical education by establishing new government medical colleges substantially expanding both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.These institutions, he said, had been established with su
