Former MP’s grandson booked again for allegedly running over community dog in Siddapura

BENGALURUAdi Narayana Naidu, grandson of late former MP and former Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman D.K. Adikesavulu Naidu, has been booked for allegedly running over a community dog in Jayanagar, more than four years after he was arrested in a similar case involving the death of a stray dog.The latest case was registered at the Siddapura Police Station based on a complaint filed by Badari Prasad M.S., an animal welfare activist, volunteer, rescuer and member of the Jayanagar Canine Squad.According to the complaint, the incident occurred on July 24 between 3.20 p.m. and 4 p.m., when a white car allegedly driven by Naidu came at high speed through the narrow residential lane and deliberately swerved towards a community dog named Jackie, knocking it down.
