Former AG: Blanche is 'Partly Right' on DOJ Independence

Former US Attorney General Alberto Gonzales says Attorney General Todd Blanche is "partly right" in arguing that the Justice Department should not operate independently of the White House, saying an attorney general should carry out a president's law-enforcement priorities but remain independent when it comes to investigations and prosecutions.
