Forest watcher Murukesan at Parambikulam Tiger Reserve in Kerala wins NTCA award

Murukesan N., a forest watcher and naturalist at Parambikulam Tiger Reserve, has won this year’s National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) award of excellence for tiger conservation.Currently working in the Sungam range, Murukesan has been selected for the prestigious national award in recognition of his contributions to tiger conservation, wildlife interpretation, biodiversity education and ecotourism.He will receive the award from Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Bhupender Yadav in New Delhi on July 29, the World Tiger Day.
