Ford City Mall developer modifies project plans ahead of first city hearing
The developer that wants to transform the shuttered Ford City Mall into an industrial campus could receive its first city approvals this week, after broadening its plans to include a public plaza and new CTA bus stop.
Chicago-based Kurv Industrial, formerly Bridge Industrial, plans to demolish Ford City Mall and build a four-building industrial campus. The project will be considered by the Chicago Plan Commission on Thursday.
