‘Force posture’: Marles, Hegseth back expanded US military presence in Australia

Defence Minister Richard Marles met his American counterpart, Pete Hegseth, in Washington, after which the Pentagon announced both leaders had “agreed to accelerate force posture initiatives at Australian bases”.
