Flyover to cut down travel time by 30 minutes

The elevated corridor, inaugurated by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Thursday, is set to drastically bring down the travel time between Malakpet and the Inner Ring Road by circumventing several traffic choke points enroute.Despite administrative sanction way back in 2018 as part of the Strategic Road Development Plan envisaging signal free travel within the city, the 3.23 kilometre grade separator took abnormally longer for completion due to various reasons such as the COVID-19 pandemic, change of regime in the State and funding problems.
