Floods, landslides hit several areas in Laoag City

SAN ILDEFONSO, Ilocos Sur — Floods and landslides were reported in several barangays in Laoag City on Monday, Aug. 31, amid prevailing bad weather. Floodwaters were ankle- to knee-deep in several areas, with below-waist-level flooding reported in parts of Barangay 2. Knee-level flooding was also recorded in Barangay 38-A in Mangato village.
