Flood control back in Palace’s 2027 budget proposal

MANILA, Philippines — Flood control spending, an item removed from this year’s budget, has been included in the proposed P7.2-trillion national budget for 2027 that the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) submitted to the House of Representatives on Tuesday. Education remains the sector with the highest proposed budget allocation at P1.314 trillion, or 18
