Videos of the fire posted online showed huge plumes of smoke billowing from the vehicle which was well alight when crews arrived.‌Police and fire crews attended the incident on Broad Street near Eccles Old Road in Salford at around 4pm. It took almost an hour for the flames to be dampened.‌Greater Manchester Police assisted with a partial road closure as fire crews worked at the scene.
