Flávio Bolsonaro Unveils a Government Program of Courts, Minerals and Term Limits

Senator Flávio Bolsonaro has presented a government program, titled 'Para o Brasil Vencer o Atraso', as he runs for president in October 2026. It proposes ending the Supreme Court's criminal jurisdiction over authorities, a one-year quarantine on certain court appointments, and an end to presidential re-election. On the economy, it prioritizes rare earths and critical minerals, data centres and R$900 billion (about US$174 billion) for infrastructure, while keeping Bolsa Família in place.
