The five in the Passat have been named locally as Michael Ray, Theo Rae, Cole Worthy, Jakub Matusiak and Makai Saddington. PC Matthew Blades, 38, and PC Tom Clough, 37, were also killed after the Volkswagen Passat smashed into their marked police car on the A66 near Middlesbrough. The officers and all five occupants of the Passat were declared dead at the scene, which happened shortly before 4am on Saturday.
