Five of a family end their lives in Srisailam

Five members of a family, including three women, ended their lives in a choultry in the temple town of Srisailam. Financial problems are said to the reason for the suicide of the family.According to sources, the five-member family hails from Battalapalli in Sri Sathya Sai district and came to Srisailam nearly a month ago. They were staying in a choultry and did not come out for the past three days.The choultry management noticed a foul smell emanating from the room in which the family were staying and forced open the doors on Tuesday morning. Police said the two male members were found dead in the room while the three women were found dead in the bathroom.
