First look as huge free event returns to seaside town

New Brighton Family Food and Drink Festival has returned. The event is taking place until Sunday, July 26, bringing together world cuisines, family entertainment and hours of fun for all ages to enjoy. The festival attracted more than 30,000 visitors last year with organisers capitalising on the success with an independent market village, an international food village and a pet village with dog shows, pet assault course and pet-friendly stalls. Organisers confirmed the event is free to enter and will be open daily from 11am to 7pm. Co-organiser Kate Corcoran previously said: "We're so proud of what this event has become. "Our goal has always been to fill the void left by the Wirral Show and create a vibrant, free space where the entire community can come together, while showcasing the amaz
