Fires Ravage Logistics Sites in Russia’s Orenburg and St. Petersburg

Early Sunday morning, Aug. 23, two major fires struck Russian logistics and industrial facilities. In Orenburg, drone debris ignited a fire at a major Ozon fulfillment center, forcing the evacuation of 300 workers and the suspension of operations. In Kolpino, near St. Petersburg, a level 4 fire engulfed an 82,000-square-meter warehouse at the Izhora industrial site, located just 350 meters from another Ozon facility.
