Fire at helmet warehouse in Dhaka’s Bangshal now under control

Brought under control at 7:55pm 17 MIN(s) UPDATED 3 MIN(s) Star Online Report Photo: Fire Service Media Wing A fire broke out at a helmet warehouse in Dhaka’s Bangshal area this evening.The blaze was reported around 6:02pm on the first and second floors of a five-storey building at Mukimbazar, said Abdur Rahim, duty officer at the Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters.Seven fire engines were dispatched to the scene. They brought the fire under control at 7:55pm, confirmed the Fire Service.The cause of the fire and any casualties could not immediately be confirmed.
