FIDE reveals host city for Gukesh vs Sindarov World Championship clash

Geneva, Switzerland, will host the 2026 FIDE World Championship Match. Reigning champion Gukesh Dommaraju will defend his title against Javokhir Sindarov. This historic contest will feature the youngest players ever to compete for the championship. The match is scheduled to take place from November 25 to December 15. FIDE selected Geneva as a neutral venue for this significant chess event.
