The DIY retailer issued the product recall notice after a fault was detected within a batch of white electric B&Q table fans sold throughout the record-breaking heatwave in spring and summer. There is a risk of electric shock and fire as some parts could overheat. This is due to a fault within the oscillation mechanism that can damage internal wiring, the Office for Product Safety and Standards said. The fans were manufactured in China by Kingfisher International Products Limited. Sign up
