August 13, 2026 1:26 PM ET Transgender care for U.S. service members and minor dependents exploded under the Biden administration, documents obtained exclusively by the Daily Caller News Foundation show.“Gender dysphoria” patient counts jumped roughly 82% during President Joe Biden’s first year in office, according to internal Defense Health Agency (DHA) records. The documents identify 17,596 unique patients in a DHA gender dysphoria dataset from 2014 to 2022, including 3,807 patients under 18.The documents were originally obtained by the Center to Advance Security in America (CASA) through Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) litigation and provided to the DCNF.
