Ex-UP member hacked to death in Bogura

A former Union Parishad (UP) member was hacked to death by unidentified assailants in the Baghopara area of Bogura Sadar upazila last night.The deceased was identified as Saiful Islam, 55, of Ashokola Purbopara in Bogura Sadar. He was a former member of Nungola Union Parishad.The incident occurred around 10:00pm near Baghopara Bridge, according to police and local residents.Family members and locals said Saiful went to have tea at the Baghopara Bazar intersection last night.
