Ex-GMP detective loses appeal against employment tribunal ruling

A judgement has been published17:31, 31 Jul 2026A former senior detective has lost an appeal against an employment tribunal which dismissed his allegations of corruption among senior officers at Greater Manchester Police.‌Pete Jackson, a former murder squad detective who was head of GMP's major incident team, alleged the force was blighted by a 'rotten culture of cronyism'.
