Ex-Finnish PM to speak in Taipei
Former Finnish prime minister Sanna Marin is scheduled to visit Taiwan for the first time to speak at an annual forum on regional security in Taipei, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Friday.Marin is to deliver a keynote address on Tuesday afternoon at the one-day Ketagalan Forum: 2026 Indo-Pacific Security Dialogue at the Grand Hyatt Taipei, the ministry said in a statement.Eswatini Prime Minister Russell Dlamini, US Representative Michael McCaul, a former chairman of the US House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee, and former Canadian deputy prime minister Chrystia Freeland would also give keynote addresses, it said.
