Ex-Defense Minister Fedorov Says Ukraine Must Strike Russian Missile Launchers, Addresses Possible Return

Former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov said Thursday, Aug. 6, Ukraine’s best defense against Russian ballistic missiles is striking their launch crews directly, citing a successful test of a long-delayed domestic missile program amid critical shortages of Patriot interceptors. He also addressed his political future, saying he has “no moral right” to pursue other work other than working to return to his previous post.
