EU-Ukraine Drone Alliance to Hold Inaugural Meeting in Brussels

The inaugural meeting of the EU-Ukraine Drone Alliance will take place on Sept. 11 in Brussels to coordinate drone and counter-drone capabilities across the bloc. Attended by EU Defence Commissioner Andrius Kubilius, the stocktaking gathering brings together 19 defense contractors from the EU and Ukraine, including Quantum Systems, Indra Group, and Athlon Avia. Simonas Šatūnas, head of Kubilius’s cabinet, stated the EU seeks to study Ukraine’s public-private drone ecosystem.
