EU Ties New Protection for Ukrainians to Military Obligation Compliance

The EU extended temporary protection for Ukrainians until March 2028. New applicants must now prove compliance with Ukraine’s military obligations, while the rule will not affect the more than 4 million Ukrainians already protected under the scheme.
