EU Set to Tighten Temporary Protection Rules for Future Ukrainian Refugees

The European Commission is preparing its biggest overhaul of temporary protection rules since 2022. Future Ukrainian applicants may need proof they are exempt from mobilization, while Poland backs the proposal and existing beneficiaries would remain unaffected.
