Estonia Advances Construction of New Military Base in Border City of Narva
On Friday, July 10, local authorities confirmed that preparations had begun for the construction of a new Estonian military base in Narva, located directly on the border with Russia. Following a land swap agreement with the Narva City Council, an initial modular camp will accommodate 150 personnel by early 2027, with the main complex slated for completion by summer 2028. The facility, designed to house up to 1,000 troops, will permanently station around 200 soldiers from the 1st Infantry Brigade
