EOCO bail conditions should not become punitive tool, says Kofi Tonto

he New Patriotic Party's (NPP) Spokesperson on Employment and Jobs, Kofi Tonto, has accused some state institutions of using bail conditions as punitive measures rather than ensuring suspects receive due process in accordance with Ghana's democratic principles. Speaking on JoyNews' AM Show on Thursday, July 16, Mr Tonto alleged that some institutions were using court-imposed bail conditions to infringe on the rights of citizens instead of safeguarding justice.
