The Aircrafted Arsenal Crest is a 2.4-metre-high sculpture using 84 components upcycled from the Airbus A380 and Boeing 777.It was made by Emirates Engineering in Dubai and then flown to London to be unveiled at the club’s ground yesterday. Arsenal’s famous cannon, which has appeared in every version of the emblem since 1905 and inspired its nickname The Gunners, has been formed from an A380 wheel hub and a titanium air duct.Sheets of 777 aluminium fuselage skin make up the face of the shield, with cargo tracks adapted to form its outer edge and internal structure.
