Fans clashed with police, climbed double-decker buses and essentially halted traffic while celebrating in Edgware Road. Police officers were filmed wrestling fans as crowds filled the streets. The fans made their way between cars and buses while cheering and waving Egyptian flags. The tense match between Egypt and Australia ended in a penalty shootout, with Egypt winning 4-2.
