Edmonton’s old Siemens LRT cars to be replaced by new models

Edmonton’s oldest LRT cars are nearing the end of the line. The city has signed a purchase agreement to replace the Siemens U2 Light Rail Vehicles that have served the city since the LRT first started operation in April 1978.
