East Lancs Road closed after motorcyclist rushed to hospital

Officers closed off the road near Wigan on Thursday evening (August 7).‌Greater Manchester Police says it was called out to the A580 at 7.45pm. The motorcyclist, a 23-year-old man, was rushed to hospital from the scene for treatment.‌He remains in hospital for treatment this morning (Friday).
