DYFI takes out march to DGP office in Thiruvananthapuram

The Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) activists took out a protest march to the office of the Director General of Police (DGP) in Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday, alleging that the police were sabotaging the investigation into the MDMA case in which a Youth Congress leader was accused.The police used water cannons to disperse the activists after they clashed with the police. DYFI State president Chintha Jerome and secretary M. Vijin participated in the march. The activists reached the protest venue carrying a placard showing the Youth Congress activist with Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan.
