DWP confirms change to state pension, Pension Credit, Attendance Allowance in August

Retirees on DWP handouts will receive payments early, owing to the bank holiday at the end of the month.‌Claimants have been told by the Labour Party government that benefit payments will be brought forward to Friday 28 August. It will impact the State Pension, Attendance Allowance, Carer’s Allowance, and more.‌Instead of 31 August, payments will be paid into bank accounts 72 hours early.
