DVSA confirms change to MOT tests but obeying it will be 'optional'

The DVSA has rolled out a change meaning MOT centres will now have to take a photo of the vehicle they are testing.It is part of a new initiative being introduced by the Labour Party government to helpcrackdown on the likes of ghost plates and fraudsters. Around 2,500 garages across the UK will be required to take a photo of the vehicle they are testing from this month (August).Guidance states: “At this stage, taking and uploading photos is optional.
