A drone entered Moldovan airspace early Monday before crossing into Romania, amid a Russian drone attack on Ukrainian cities overnight, Moldova's Ministry of Defense reported. The drone briefly triggered airspace restrictions in southern Moldova and was later tracked over Romania's Galați County, prompting Romania to scramble two F-16 jets and a helicopter. The drone's origin has not been identified. It marked the second such incursion into Moldovan airspace in three days.
