Footage shows the children, Subby, 10, and another boy aged 12, clinging to the structure as the water rushed around them on May 28. They had been on a family day out when they became stranded by the fast-rising tide and clung on for around 40 minutes. Their mum Zully, from Leeds, had tried to wade out to reach the boys but was pushed back by the waves. Her 21-year-old nephew, Ted, also tried to reach the pair and clung to the pier supports, but became stranded
