Emergency services were called to Takmadoon Road near to Berryhill Farm, in Kilsyth, between 7.30pm and 8pm on Wednesday, 12 August, 2026. A 60-year-old male cyclist was rushed to hospital for treatment to what were described as serious injuries. Sergeant Gary Stewart of Police Scotland Road policing unit, say they are now hunting for the driver of the white van which left the scene after the collision.
