After "blooming on the banks of the River Clyde", a new Commonwealth Games artwork has risen above the city to signal the first full week of competition. Created by Glasgow artist Emer Tumilty in collaboration with creative studio NEWSUBSTANCE, the piece aims to "bring together the city's industrial and artistic heritage."
