Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings linked to Environment Ministry appointment as Mahama prepares reshuffle

Speculation is mounting over a possible appointment of Klottey Korle Member of Parliament Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings as Ghana’s next Minister for Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, as President John Dramani Mahama prepares to fill two vacant cabinet positions. The Environment portfolio, alongside the Defence Ministry, has remained without a substantive minister since the death of Dr Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed and Dr Edward Kofi Omane Boamah in a helicopter crash in August 2025.
