Domestic violence in Ghana: The crisis behind close doors

Home is supposed to be the place where fear ends. It is where a person should be able to close the door behind them, breathe freely and know that they are safe. It is where children should learn what love looks like, where couples should find companionship, and where families should find comfort after the pressures of the outside world. But for too many people in Ghana, closing the door does not bring safety. It brings fear.
