Dodgers predicted to make smart final decision on Shohei Ohtani's pitching rehab

The last time Shohei Ohtani was on the mound for the Los Angeles Dodgers was July 3. At the time, Ohtani was a borderline National League Cy Young Award candidate. Since then, the two-way superstar has been dealing with lingering left knee inflammation and right biceps discomfort. Those injuries have kept Ohtani away from the rubber, but he continues to rehab and do throwing progressions. If Ohtani's pitching rehab is affecting his hitting, should the Dodgers end his attempt at a return to the mound? Bleacher Report's Kerry Miller says yes. "Unless they can somehow definitively rule that out, Dave Roberts and the Dodgers' high-level decision-makers need to start asking themselves if it's really worth it to continue with his pitching rehab," Miller wrote after Ohtani had a .795 OPS in August
