DMK’s participation in delimitation meeting essential, says Thol. Thirumavalavan

Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) president Thol. Thirumavalavan on Friday said the DMK’s participation was essential in the consultation meeting of Members of Parliament from alliance parties, including the VCK, on the delimitation meeting to be chaired by Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay on Saturday.Speaking to reporters in Cuddalore, he said the meeting was being held to press the Union government to drop any proposed legislation on the delimitation of Parliamentary constituencies.“There is no need for such a law in the present circumstances. The VCK will participate in the meeting to emphasise that the Union government must abandon it. I do not know whether the DMK has been invited to the meeting.
