District police organise blood donation camp in Tirupattur

The District Police has organised a blood donation camp for police personnel and other volunteers in Tirupattur as part of the 80th Independence Day celebrations.According to a press release, the camp was inaugurated by Superintendent of Police Akshay Anil Wakhare in the presence of senior police officers, district health officials, and residents. More than 500 volunteers participated in the camp. Medical teams from Government Taluk Hospital in Tirupattur town were present at the camp, the release said. Published - August 15, 2026 12:08 am IST
