DISRESPECTFUL?: CAF boss Motsepe skirts disrespecting women’s soccer issue after Wafcon postponements

The leader of the Confederation of African Football, Patrice Motsepe, admitted that the federation ‘could have done better’ in organising the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (Wafcon), after its two most recent editions did not take place as scheduled. He said the increased prize money for 2026 shows how much they value the sport.
