Disney Store Trafford Centre opening date announced with freebies up for grabs

Stitch fans might want to get there early12:58, 01 Sep 2026Disney has announced the opening date for its new Trafford Centre shop with a number of freebies up for grabs.‌Earlier this year, it was announced that the popular store, which is known for selling merchandise and memorabilia of some of Disney’s biggest movies, will have a presence in Greater Manchester again after a five year hiatus.‌In 2021, Disney announced it was 'significantly reducing' its number of stores to focus on its online retail operations, which led to the closure of its shops at the Manchester Arndale and the Trafford Centre that year.‌Click here for the latest on Manchester's food & drink scene, gigs and more in our CityLife newsletterIn the meantime, Disney has continued to host pop-ups and temporary themed stores
