Discharge from Maharashtra reservoirs reduced slightly

A file photo of the Krishna river in Belagavi. | Photo Credit: File Photo Due to reduced rainfall, water discharge from Maharashtra’s reservoirs was slightly reduced on Friday.The total discharge into the Krishna and its tributaries was around 49405 cusecs, around 10,000 cusecs less than that of Thursday.The Almatti dam had an inflow of around 48877 cusecs and an outflow of 58657 cusecs. The dam had around 102.9 tmcft of water against a full capacity of 123 tmcft.The Raja Lakhamagouda dam in Hidkal had around 48.9 tmcft of water. Both the inflow and outflow was 5545 cusecs.
