DG Prisons reviews lake restoration, prison industries and proposed ITI at Cherlapalli

Director General of Prisons and Correctional Services Soumya Mishra on Tuesday reviewed a series of infrastructure, environmental and rehabilitation initiatives in Cherlapalli, including the ongoing lake restoration project, prison industries, and the proposed Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI) inside the central prison.During her visit, DG Mishra inspected the Cherlapalli Lake Restoration Project, being taken up by the Prisons Department in collaboration with HYDRAA with financial assistance from Indian Oil Corporation Limited under its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative.
